This is a very interesting site because the purpose is almost purely informational.  Mr. Seagren is a consultant in the specialized world of dredging.  Much of the information presented on this site has been written and taught by Mr. Seagren over many years.

The two key feature of this site are the simple organization of material to make it accessible to the visitor, and the graphical theme.  The home page is comprised of blues and some browns to reinforce the theme of cleaning waterways.  The logo is exposed along the top of the page by a rotating dredge bucket.  This was accomplished using only a GIF animation and Dynamic HTML.  The menu is appears to be upside-down tabs but is intentionally designed as a visual element of dredge buckets filled with clear water.  As Mr. Seagren's business as a consultant is to design dredging systems, the information is enclosed in a "blueprint" structure with draftsman's lines extending outwards.
